This is about data that is either distributed by the company to its branch offices or returned to the company from the branch offices. I think this says that the data volume is measured in "Mio. Protokollen". Is that "logs", "protocols", or something else?

A rough translation would be "tracing back the number of of transactions worldwide [FASTA including TeleService in million records/logs]"
I assume that they are looking at the volume of transactions, i.e. how many transactions have taken place, on a global scale. This means that there could be rather a lot, so potentially, providing a report on this where the number of transactions on record are shown in millions (as a unit) would make sense. In that case, I would suggest "record" or "log" (as in no. of transactions logged on the system) to be appropriate.
Example:
The ATF Firearms Tracing System (FTS) contains firearm tracing information from millions of traces performed since 1989, and consists of several databases:
1. Multiple Sale Reports. Over 460,000 (2003) Multiple Sales reports (ATF F 3310.4 - a registration record with specific firearms and owner name and address - increasing by about 140,000 per year). Reported as 4.2 million records in 2010.
