Styling

English to Spanish Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters conversation
Hello.

I´m having some thought on the second line here: "Styling". It´s the comment a second character makes when the first one mentions some items were found:

A: Used condom, handbag with the victim's hairbrush and ID, and this scarf.

B: Styling.

So... what about "styling"? I want to compare other ideas with mine.

Rosa Grau (X) Nov 25, 2011:
what comes next? please
hairbrush also for hair-styling
Margarita Díaz Nov 25, 2011:
I suppose the character refers to the scarf, it could be "con mucho estilo" o "muy moderna".

qué elegante

Without further context, it's hard to know if it is a comment about the scarf, as Margarita suggests (in Argentina we could say 'qué fashion') or about the taste or classiness of the whole set of items (particularly the used condom).

'Qué elegante' could work for either one of these contexts, depending on the tone.
