Russian term or phrase: служебный чек
I have a list, in a table, of functions of a specialty electronic cash register for filling stations. A subsection of the list is виды чеков - "types of receipts" that the machine will generate.

One of them is "расходный". The entry in the next field, which says whether or not this particular machine has this function, is: "за возвращение сопутстующего товара". The latter is "an accessory" or "an accessory product".

I think the sense is that "служебный чек" is a broader category (something like "transaction receipt"), and it's saying that this particular machine issues such receipts, to the customer, in cases where a customer returns some item purchased at the gas station. Obviously not the gasoline, but some accessory or other (a bottle of anti-freeze, jumper cables, whatever).

So what's the right term for the broad category: "transaction receipt"?

service receipt

Explanation:
and "за возвращение сопутстующего товара" = "for merchandise returns of accompanying goods", not "accessory products"

Example (see link below):
Cash register МІNІ-500.01 AZS – provides control
over fuel pumps with automatic receipt print-out
CHARACTERISTICS МІNІ-500.01 AZS
Modes of automatic fuel delivery prepayment (in liters or in cash),
order on integer number of cash, order on "to a full tank", mode
"start-stop" at local control over fuel pump

Quantity of receipt types, printed by a cash register:
3 - fiscal receipt, consumed (on fuel delivered by the pumps), service (for merchandise returns of accompanying goods)

I think the broader term would be "Purchase Receipt" (debit type of transaction) as opposed to расходный (where credit is issued).
Still thinking as to how to translate расходный чек

Notes to answerer
Asker: I'm waiting on this one for the customer's vacationing specialist on these matters. At first they said it's a receipt for putting cash in the register when there's no purchase or return, but my context says that it is generated specifically for returns! ... By the way, the "accompanying goods" phrase would be unclear in English; accompanying what? The customer agreed to "accessories."
