Not for points English to Croatian Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama tv production, researcher

The term in question is "researcher" for a production company. I'm not sure if the valid Croatian term for that particular job position is "istražitelj/istraživač".
The job description includes research and fact-checking, I understand the function itself, I'm just not sure about the proper equivalent in Croatian, so if you have any suggestions, ideas, I'm all ears.
