Discussion

Dear Komeil,
Here, what Hossein says is right. This گدايي is mundane type of simple beggary and not the high definition of it in your mind. It was simple asking for ordinary matters which poets pose in their poems.
Ryan Emami Sep 5, 2010:
گدایی > beggary Dear Mr. Zamani,

Definitely, this گدایی here is the ordinary, earthly, and money-based type. You will see for yourself if you take a look at the context in which this sentence appears:

what گدایی means? to me گدایی here means expectation of searching and searching.
what makes a poem alive and dynamic is searching through history and borrowing.
What do u think?
Vague would u please provide information?

pauperism is the canon of

canon: شریعت= a set of accepted rules or "a rule or especially body of rules or principles generally established as valid and fundamental in a field"or "Canon" also may refer to: Culture and arts
I think this is the same as "شریعت" that means a set of rule regarding to a particular subject.

Just another option:
beggary is the law of poem.

Beggary/mendicity is the way of poets

شریعت means way and شعر here actually refers to the profession of a poet rather than poetry itself.
