English term
withdrawal diet
English to French
Science
Livestock / Animal Husbandry
animal nutrition brochure
The context: "Pork and Poultry producers use XXXX as
an important component of pathogen reduction programs, in vaccination-free windows and withdrawal diets, as well
as an aid in increasing feed intake."
The obvious translation would be "régime de sevrage" but I am afraid this will be confused with "weaning diet", which refers to the transition of a baby from its mother's milk to articifial feed and hence is not the same thing. Could it be "régime de suppression"?
