Spanish term

tuerto

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Insurance insurance
'Nombre del tuerto'
(no context to work with - just a list)
Name of the problem? perhaps..

I'd appreciate any comments, as I can't seem to find it in the dictionaries I have, or in the proz glossary.

Thanks in advance... :o)

Miguel... I am somewhat put off, because this list seems to be a list of insurance terms, and I was thinking that they may have misspelt 'entuerto'..?
I may be completely wrong, of course - I'm not so proud to accept that.. :o)

Philip ... Thanks for the contribution. I thought that your rendering was correct as well when I first came across it, but I am a little sceptical... :o)

"tort" or "wrong-doing"

In legal language "tuerto" and "entuerto" mean "daño, prejuicio, agravio".
