Il faudrait voir la phrase en contexte, mais je penche comme Tony pour 'mains power cord receptacle', prise (du cordon/câble) secteur. Parle-t-on d'une prise d'alim. secondaire/auxiliaire?

typo is not mine the typo is in the source text, and it is not fully reliable. However, I think it is really "main", and not "mains", although I have no picture (may be I'll get them tomorrow, it was hard to explain to the agency that she should explain to the client that... pictures are very helpful to translate an user's guide!)

Is the typo yours, or in the source text? The reason I ask is that, if the source text isn't reliable, there could be another typo that might be important: that 'main' might in fact be meant to be 'mains' — do you know if there are more than just the one?

Et effectivement, si le client confirme que c'est "mains" au lieu de "main", alors je dirais "prise d'alimentation secteur"
