I'm not sure the terminology of inventory management is relevant here given that we are simply talking about the amount of debt outstanding and interest/repayments of principal on that debt. Something like:
'the result is [said to be] to bring the [amounts of] principal (the total amount of debt outstanding) and payment flows (for interest and repayments of principal within an individual tranche) into line with each other'
Something with 'match (up)' might be better for 'Vergleich'.
Shouldn't this be two questions?
