AC capacitor

Siemens gives capacitor and condenser for Kondensator and alternating current for Wechselstrom. I was unable to find Wechselstromkondensator, so this is my guess.
Peer comment(s):

agree Lancashireman : 'capacitor' or 'condenser'. The only web refs for 'condensator' are foreign (e.g. NL) or brand names. AC is, as you say, 'alternating' rather than 'alternation' current.

Pro translators usually check the online dicos before using KudoZ, and Leo doesn't yield "condensator" either.
agree Arthur Allmendinger : alternating current (AC) capacitor

Peer comment(s):

disagree Ken Cox : Sorry, but you can't always rely on Leo. 'Condensator' is simply incorrect in English ('condenser' was used in the past, but it's archaic), and 'alternation current' should be 'alternating current'.

disagree Colin Newberry : Sorry, but no.
