Surprise: Nowadays URLs aren't limited to ASCII.

I tried to paste this link:
http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lentikulärt_tryck
but Proz wouldn't accept it.

(Note: That's a real "ä" - a with dieresis - in the link, not the HTML entity I had to enter to make the link show as intended...)

Why, it does. I have no problem following your link. However, to be on the safe side, make such links manually, i. e. put the tag pair of url /url around the link text and paste the very link after url as follows:
Lentikulärt tryck

Sorry, I was referring to the reference link fields in Kudoz.
They don't accept high-ascii like "ä". At least not when I tried with that Wikipedia link.

A support ticket? Jul 31, 2013

I haven’t had an occasion to use a link with non-ascii chars in KudoZ, so can’t comment. I understand, this is about the respective field in the answer, right? I guess, the only option is to past URLs from browser URL field rather than typing them. However, it looks like this problem begs for a support ticket.

Server-side validation logic is identical whether you paste or type text.
I pasted the link.

(Yes, it's about the reference fields. The main field works just like the fields here in the forums.)
