Presently, "weekend" automatically means Saturday and Sunday. But there are countries where weekend is Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday, like in Middle East, for example. Or one may have a "personal" weekend, if not for other reason then because a family member works in shifts or has an otherwise different week, and to keep his/her schedule.

Maybe we do not have to call it weekends Jul 5, 2009

Just allow users to set some "rules" for instance unavailability on Fridays, partial availability on Wednesdays, etc...

Room for calendar comments needed Jul 5, 2009

I agree that we need a few lines to comment on our calendars. For example: Does "available" for you mean "available to be contacted" or "available for work"? Does "unavailable" mean "off line" or "totally booked"?
Many of us could add helpful little notes, such as, "often available overnight", or for those "partially available", "available from 12 noon on"... or whatever.
I would really like to see this feature added.
