A past pastime

When I was introduced to a crossword puzzle magazine in my early teens, I couldn't get enough of those puzzles. That habit was a real mind exercise that I kept doing for about a year. Then I moved on to other things.

So, who knows of good, challenging but not crazily difficult English or French crosswords on the web? And very simple Spanish ones for language learners.
The one I like is called 'Universal Crossword' by Timothy Parker. It's on quite a few different sites if you Google it.

Since I was 12. And Sudoku, as well. I always take them to the bathroom and to bed with me, and split my reading time between a good book and the CWPs. Not those stupid CWPs with arrows, but the hard-level ones. Not only they add to your knowlege, but they help you not to get insane and to prevent Alzheimer and Parkinsons. It's always advisable. And it's a lot better and more profitable than reading things like 50 Shades of Gray or the Twilight series.

Thank you both, Peter and Muriel! Yet another excuse for not getting my nose out of my computer when I'm not working.
