This is one of those polls that should really allow for choosing multiple answers.
Sometimes I feel/do ALL of these things when I don't have work! Freelance heaven! (Or '?')

...but as my phone is a prehistoric one without email or other fancy applications, I do go in every so often to check my emails. Those occasions are the main reason why I am considering buying a smartphone so I can really go off and do other things on days with no work.

I start by feeling relieved, as it means that I have finished a job and I will have one or two days free, I catch up on non-work related tasks (keeping up the administrative stuff and organizing things at home) and I search for new clients, but afterwards I feel bored and I begin to panic… and fortunately the cycle starts again!

but otherwise agree with Teresa and Noura and I always have loads to do in my half-acre garden any time I have some free time. And I can also take the dog on longer walks in nice places...

depends, at times I feel free to do other things, or search new clients, or stressed because I have no work, or bored.
all of the options | Aug 14, 2013 |
and usually all on the same day
I would love to have a few days free to get bored and start being creative again, but circumstances sadly don't permit lately.

If there is little translation/editing/proo-reading work I either relax a little, attend to daily chores or polish up my screenplays so they're as good as they can be before I send them to production companies.
Boredom is one of the words that neither of my dictionaries includes.
