I am a native Swede living in the United Kingdom, with a passionate interest in languages and dialects, literature, film and theatre.

I speak Swedish as native language and am fluent in English, having lived in the United Kingdom since 2011 and with a considerable part of my University studies being taught in English. Having studied Nordic Language Studies at University level, I also have a high level of understanding of Norwegian and Danish. I translate in the following language pairs: English to Swedish, Norwegian to Swedish, and Danish to Swedish.

My main background is in film, theatre and media, with a Masters degree of Social Sciences in Culture and Media Production from Linköping University, Sweden; and university level studies in Film, History of Ideas, and History. I have also worked as film director, script writer and producer at an independent film production company; as assistant director at one of Sweden’s largest local theatres; and as script writer and film director with the art organisation Vision Forum.

I have always had a strong interest in literature and creative writing, with practical writing experience ranging from academic papers and dissertations, to film and play scripts, to novels.
