In technical specifications, user's manuals or technical proposals the use of the precise word can make all the difference. It is important to use the proper terminology to transmit the message effectively and ease comprehension.
This became evident during my years of experience as an engineer in the aerospace and automotive industry since part of my tasks involved studying, generating, updating, translating or supervising technical documentation in English, Spanish and, occasionally, Dutch and French.
On the other hand, as an art-lover and current student of Art History, I am becoming more and more familiar with the rich, complex art lexicon. I have also collaborated with performers (scenic arts) to prepare promotion emails for new projects as well as full translation and overhaul of websites.
