I am a full-time translator and editor and I translate from Spanish to English. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing (University of Warwick, England) and a master's degree in Translation and Interculturality (University of Seville, Spain). Beyond my principal freelance work, I have experience as an in-house translator and a translation team coordinator in the fields of social sciences, pedagogy, education and business. My editing career means that my translations hit two birds with one stone and cover all your proofreading needs, too.
How I work:
I have full availability and my output is approximately 2,500 words a day. I am able to work with CAT tools such as SDL Trados and MemoQ (favouring the former), and with subtitling tools such as Aegisub and VisualSubSync. I have working knowledge of all major variations of English and Spanish. I am also proficient in and up-to-date with all major citation styles (APA, MLA, CMoS, etc.).
I specialise in:
Audiovisual translation
Literary translation

My main fields of expertise are:
