I was born in Rome, Italy, and I've started the learning of different languages at the lyceum, where I studied German (3 years), English and French (5 years). I started working at translations from French already after the matura in 1998. From the following year on I dealt with translations from English and German too.
I got my master's degree for Foreign Literatures and Languages at Rome University "La Sapienza" with a translation work from German to Italian (110/110 w.h.). During the university time I could spend, each summer, 2-3 months in Germany where I could improve my knowledge of the german culture and language. I can speak German without any foreign accent.
Last year I passed the official district exam of Rome to be a Licensed Touristic Interpreter for German, English and French. In the last two years I could start the learning of Spanish, since I've worked in the tourism branch where I had to write letters and invoices in that language, so I can easily read and understand it. Last year (2012) I tried some short translation jobs from Spanish to French and Italian, and the result was fully satisfying.
I can even translate from German / English to French.
