Hi fellow translators. I have a minor difficulty in counting the words number of an xml document. After a trial and error effort, I learn that it should be converted into Excell and then the Excell document is converted into Word document to count the words number. Is there anyone who has more practical and affordable procedure? I really appreciate all your input.

I am working on an XML document with about 12000 words including the tags. After importing it into DVX and exporting the "external view" into a Word file, only 8000 words are left.
