Monolingual target-only read for natural flow Aug 3

My "last" step is reading aloud the printed copy, then I may have few or many edits to make. After that, I hit "send'...

185 pages of highly technical stuff?
I run XBench twice with spellchecker and all.
Reread the whole file segment by segment again and that's it.

I did translate some technical stuff at the very beginning of my career, but soon discovered that it is not my cup of tea...

Both check in the CAT tool AND monolingual check Aug 3

I do not hit 'deliver' until I have done both.

If I am madly pressed for time, then the bilingual check for accuracy is probably the most important, but I am not happy until I have done the mechanical check and the final monolingual check as well!

Well... Aug 3

My last step would be proof-reading it twice.
