UNIVERSITY DEGREES:
I have a University Degree in Pedagogy, and I am a certified Librarian/Documentalist. I am educated in Sweden, I live in Stockholm. My native language is Swedish, but I do speak English every now and again, since I have family in U.K. I also read a lot of English literature and prose.

SELECTED EXPERIENCES:
I worked 16 years as a Librarian, where translation was often an integral part of the job, for example:
1. Librarian/Documentalist, Spri, (Health Care, Medicine, Psychology, Psychiatry), translation and creation of abstracts as well as indexing of Spri´s databases; 1 year. Translated English and Norwegian to Swedish - full-time post.
2. Librarian/Documentalist, Swedish Competition Authority, (EU-publications, EU Competition Law, Economics, Political Science), databases, literature and documents principally in English; 4 years - full-time.

Since 2004 I am working as a freelance Proof reader/Editor. I am a very experienced Proof reader/Editor. Often, as a Swedish Proof reader/Editor you also work with the English manuscript (checking the translation). I have done some translation (English-Swedish) for Swedish Translation Agencies.

I am thorough and have a feeling and proficiency for language and a great respect for the customer´s integrity.
