Shopping baskets

The shopping baskets in malls and grocery stores date back to 1937, when they were first invented and developed. Over the years the manufacture techniques have witnessed a lot of progress.
There are more than 50 different kinds of baskets depending on the size and use.
Baskets are usually made of heavy metal wires. The first machine cuts the wires into small steel sizes (carpen wear) and then they are flattened, afterwards they are cut into various sizes small, medium and large depending on their position in the basket.
Another machine compresses the long wires then another one bends them from both sides to make the basket.
The worker puts the wires in a perforated square forming a mesh, then a machine welds and fixes them and another one plies and fixes the wires from all sides to form a box. At this time a robotic welding is performed, a worker trims the edges, while a machine perforates and frames them.
