I have dual citizenship (Swedish and American). Though raised in Sweden, I have resided in the United States for the past 11 years -- my parents taught me both languages at a very early age. During breaks from academic studies I did editing and proofreading for a company in Stockholm, Sweden, which included some translation work. With journalism and political science degrees from Michigan State University under my belt, I worked as a freelance reporter in Michigan for a short while before catching on as a copy editor at a newspaper in the Detroit region. I've also done proofreading for local advertising outfits. Currently I'm working in the news industry but am available for translation assignments.
