The primary objective is to share with the physician the overall superiority of XXX compared to tNSAIDs in terms of providing equal efficacy in pain and inflammation, matched with lower GI adverse events.
We want to encourage customers to consider how they can reduce the risk of OA patients experiencing GI adverse events.
The first step is for customers to recognise that the risk of GI AEs extends throughout the entire GI tract.
Any barriers to prescribing a COX-2 inhibitor need to be identified and overcome, then customers’ prescribing habits should be changed, so that their first consideration is XXX instead of adding a PPI to tNSAID treatment.
Our focus is to establish the efficacy of XXX and position it firmly in HCPs’ minds as their first choice COX-2 inhibitor as soon as they are considering the addition of a PPI to tNSAID therapy in response to GI problems.
CONDOR was the first large-scale (4484 patients) randomised study to examine clinically significant GI events throughout the entire GI tract.
XXX demonstrated a significantly reduced incidence of GI AEs and significantly fewer withdrawals due to GI adverse events compared to the tNSAID PPI (p		Translation - French
