Source text - English Our initial approach, and indeed key to the success of the project, will be to review the Client’s aspiration in order to determine the Client’s key objectives and requirements. Given the challenge which the program presents, the timing of an early team meeting is critical to getting the team up and functioning as one. These goals must be fully understood in order
that the design team have the time required to coordinate the commercial requirements of the project and provide the necessary information. As Interior Design Consultant we will, so far as we are able, encourage this process and will work closely with the Client and other consultants (and designers) to ensure the programs are realistic and adhered to. Our goal as Interior Design Consultant will be to effect professional and competent design management of the retail design process. We cannot achieve this alone and will look to the whole design consultancy team to employ a proactive ‘team working’ approach during all phases of the project.The success of the whole project depends on the correct allocation of priorities and resources and these corporate methods assist individual teams to achieve the quality which represents good design:- The formation of the correct development brief given the Client’s aspirations

Source text - English EU Digital Single Market
The current European Commission (to be in the office until 2019), has made it one of its 10 political priorities to remove obstacles to the completion of the Digital Single Market. A significant step in this direction was the adoption of the Digital Market Strategy for the EU in May 2015, which has identified a list of priorities to be delivered by the end of 2016.
The Strategy states that “one of the reasons why consumers and smaller companies do not engage more in cross-border e-commerce (currently, only 7% of SMEs in the EU sell cross-border online) is because the rules that apply to these transactions can be complex, unclear and may differ between Member States.” The Strategy points out that this mainly refers to consumer, taxation (different VAT levels) and contract laws that may often vary between Member States, leaving both shoppers and business in the loop of their rights and business opportunities.
It continues by emphasising that certain aspects of consumer and contract laws have already been fully harmonised at the EU level. This includes information that should be provided to consumers before they enter into a contract or the rules governing consumers’ right to withdraw from the deal. However, other legislative areas still need further harmonisation, such as, for instance, remedies available when goods bought on line are not in conformity with the contract of sale, in order to make the Digital Single Market function well in practice.
It is worth noting that the Strategy does not address food e-commerce in particular. Amongst the obstacles to further development of the Digital Single Market, food legislation as such, is not mentioned. Food Safety
In 2002 the European Parliament and the Council adopted Regulation (EC) 178/2002, also known as the EU General Food Law. Scope of this umbrella law covers all sectors of the food chain, including feed production, primary production (excluding production and handling for own personal use), food processing, storage, transport and retail sale. It also sets out a legal basis for the development and adoption of a set of food and feed legislation. General Food Law has laid down general principles, requirements and procedures in matters of food and feed safety. Overarching aim of the Law is to ensure a high level of protection of consumers’ interests in relation to food, while ensuring the effective functioning of the internal (single) market.
Article 17 of the General Food Law defines responsibility for placing only safe food on the market. It specifies that it is the responsibility of food business operators (or FBOs) to ensure that food is safe. Food business operator is defined as any undertaking that carries out any of the activities related to any stage of production, processing and distribution of food.
Traceability is also an important principle set out in the General Food Law (article 18). Traceability of food (including food producing animals, feed, substances that can be incorporated into food) must be ensured at all stages of production, processing and distribution.
Food e-commerce means that the food supply chain is somewhat changing. However, in the eyes of European regulator, the approach taken for the online retailing or distribution of food is the same as for the ‘traditional’ one, when responsibility is at stake.

Does this city mean anything special to you?
“I enjoy the energy of New York, there is something that just feels so alive in that city. The Cruise collection has a strong debt to American style. There is a freedom I admire in the way particular American women dress. I wanted an element of playfulness in powerful looks; it was an element of freedom coming into those looks. There is a combination of the east coast and west coast in the Cruise collection. The A-W 2014-15 ready-to-wear collection also had a debt to America; it was an abstract idea of a city with female workers, but at the same time that city was very New York, especially with the combination of sportswear and art deco.”
The Dior women that you created are very classic, powerful, feminine and very modern with your own edgy touch, it’s very different from the image before, how long did it take you to finalize it?
“I have approached Dior in quite an instinctive way. Focusing on the first ten years of the house when Christian Dior was working himself, I have looked at his codes, at his approach to building patterns, to his obsessions and superstitions and to his life in general. I suppose I was naturally drawn to that period because it is the foundation of the house and it seemed natural to go back to the beginning, to analyse and reinterpret the style of Christian Dior himself and to point out the timeless qualities of his aesthetic. At the same time, this period fits with some of my own longstanding personal obsessions, particularly the Mid-Century Modern. I am fascinated by much of the art, architecture and design of this period. So it was not so difficult to be myself and to also be the designer who represents Dior at the house, to bring the two things together. It has been two years now and it is still about feeling this rather than finalising anything.”
