• مقدمة:
أتت إجراءات ضمان الجودة وتحسين الأداء ملازمة للتوسع الهائل في مؤسسات التعليم العالي السعودي. فأصبح لزاماً على هذه المؤسسات التأكد من جودة عملياتها ومخرجاتها والعمل على التحسين المستمر لكافة أنشطتها، متبنية مجموعة من مؤشرات أداء رئيسة ومقاييس مرجعية مختارة تقيس هذا الأداء. ولا يتأتى ذلك إلا بإيجاد وحدة تتولى إدارة هذه العمليات.
النشأة:
أتت فكرة إنشاء إدارة الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية في 1427/2/4هـ، لتأمين خدمات ضمان جودة مستقلة على الجانبين البرامجي والمؤسسي.
ومع توسع أعمال الإدارة تم تحويلها في بداية عام 1430هـ إلى عمادة مستقلة للتقويم والجودة تحمل على عاتقها كافة الأعباء والأنشطة المتعلقة بالتقويم والجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي.
العمداء:
منذ بداية العمادة تعاقب على إدارتها وتولي أمورها وتطوير مسيرتها عدد من أصحاب الكفاءات العلمية والإدارية الفاعلة على مستوى الجامعة والمجتمع.

فتؤمن جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية برسالتها الرامية إلى تحقيق التميز، وتسعى بخطوات ثابتة إلى تحقيق ذلك من خلال تبني أفضل السياسات والممارسات لضمان جودة مؤسسات التعليم العالي، وتأتي عمادة التقويم والجودة كإحدى أهم العمادات المساندة المعنية بتحقيق توجهات الجامعة الاستراتيجية نحو الجودة وتميز الأداء.
إن عمادة التقويم والجودة وهي تتطلع لتحقيق رؤيتها لتكون بيت خبرة على مستوى الجامعات السعودية تضطلع بمسؤولية تقديم الدعم والمساندة لجميع وحدات الجامعة لتحقيق ضمان جودة الأداء الأكاديمي والإداري، من خلال تطوير الأنظمة والسياسات والإجراءات ذات العلاقة بجودة العملية التعليمية والإدارية، إضافة إلى تقديم خدمات التقويم والتدريب والتحسين المستمر.
والعمادة إذ تفخر بما حققته خلال مسيرتها التي دامت أكثر من عشر سنوات وبالإنجازات التي تمت على أيدي المخلصين من العمداء السابقين، فإنها تعقد العزم على مواصلة المسير نحو مزيد من الإرتقاء بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية وببرامجها الأكاديمية لتكون قادرة على الوفاء بمتطلبات التنمية الوطنية وإمداد سوق العمل السعودي بالخريجين المتميزين، إضافة إلى تنمية الإسهامات البحثية بما يدفع عجلة العلم في المجالات الشرعية والإنسانية والعلمية والتطبيقية، وهي في الوقت ذاته تهيب بجميع منسوبي الجامعة الإخلاص في العمل والحرص على جودة الأداء والتعاون مع ماتقدمه العمادة من برامج ومبادرات وأنشطة انطلاقا من أهمية العمل الجماعي والسعي المشترك لتحقيق أهداف الجامعة وتطلعاتها المستقبلية لخدمة الدين ثم الوطن في ضوء رؤية القيادة الرشيدة 2030.
ختاماً، آمل أن يحوز موقع العمادة على رضا الجميع ولا يفوتني أن أتوجه بالشكر الجزيل إلى قائد هذا الصرح الشامخ، جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، معالي ا. د. أحمد بن سالم العامري على الدعم والتوجيه المستمرين لعمادة التقويم والجودة، والشكر موصول كذلك إلى سعادة وكيل الجامعة للتخطيط والتطوير والجودة د. عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الشدي.

الأهداف الاستراتيجية:
1. بناء نظام فعال لضمان الجودة في الجامعة.
2. توطين الجودة وتعزيز مبادئها وممارساتها ونشر ثقافتها في الجامعة بكامل فروعها ووحداتها.
3. تقويم جميع أنشطة الجامعة وضمان جودتها وخاصة البرامج الأكاديمية والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع.
4. تهيئة البرامج الأكاديمية للاعتمادات المحلية والخارجية وتقديم الدعم لها لتحقيق أهدافها.
5. العمل مع وحدات الجامعة المسؤولة عن البرامج الأكاديمية لتحسين مخرجات التعلم لدى الطلاب.
6. رفع جودة الأداء التدريسي وتقديم الدعم المهني لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في مجال التدريس والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع بما يسهم في تحسين جودة مخرجات العملية التعليمية.
7. التقييم المستمر لأداء كافة العمليات المتعلقة بتطوير ضمان الجودة في الوحدات الإدارية بالجامعة.

Translation - English • Introduction:
Quality assurance and performance improvement measures came in conjunction with the massive expansion of Saudi higher education institutions. It became imperative for these institutions to ensure the quality of their operations and outputs, and to work on continuous improvement of all their activities, adopting a set of key performance indicators, and selected benchmarks that measure this performance. This can only be achieved by creating a unit to manage these operations.
Formation:
The idea of establishing quality management and academic accreditation at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) came on 4/2/1427 AH, to ensure independent quality assurance services on both of the programmatic and the institutional sides. With the expansion of the administration's work, it was transformed at the beginning of 1430 AH into an independent Deanship of Evaluation and Quality, bearing all the burdens of evaluation, quality and academic accreditation.

Since the beginning of the Deanship, a number of effective academic and administrative professionals -at the university and community levels- have succeeded in managing it, taking over its affairs and developing its career.
