(1) Translation industry's first-ever virtual conference expected to draw largest gathering of translators in history

Tomorrow, will host the translation industry's first-ever "virtual conference". Interest has exceeded expectations, to the point that the event is expected to draw the largest gathering of professional translators in history.

The conference will be conducted entirely online. Attendees will be able to participate in industry presentations, meet with translation company and vendor representatives, and network with other professionals work in their languages and fields.

Comments from those planning to attend:

- "I hope to get to know some colleagues, and to have a good time with them!"

- "I haven't attended a ProZ conference before, so I thought this would be good start."

- "I looked at the list: simply everyone is there: old aquaintances and new persons."

- "I hope to meet open-minded people, who like to share their expertise and aren't ashamed of asking questions."

Sound good? If so, there is more good news: Thanks to strong support from the fifteen sponsors, this historic event is entirely free for translators to attend. So don't miss it! For information on how to register and prepare, and to see the list of top companies that are sponsoring, go to:

Technology will be provided by Unisfair, the web's leading provider of virtual events. Nevertheless, bear in mind that virtual conferences are still quite new, and many attendees are expected, so it would not be surprising for there to be a few glitches. Remember, the event will be improved upon each year!
