"Nya data från visar att patienter över 80 år inte ska exkluderas från behandlingen"
=
"New data from [...?] shows that patients over 80 ..."
At first, I thought that "från" was supposed to be followed by a noun referring to the source of this data, and therefore that this was a mistake.
However, I found a couple more examples of "från visar att" online -- is this sentence intelligble even without a noun following "från"?

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

My guess, based on the repeated error, is that the object to from has been some kind of place holder or variable that has been lost along the lines.

Should of course have been "No, it doesn't parse."
Anyway, I suggest you translate it the way it is "New data from show that ..." and add some kind of explanatory note that the source is ill-formed.
