nut layers

Seems like that
Peer comment(s):

agree Hanna Dermes : Nut layers or even nut cake layers. It seems to be a cake and not a pie, for a pie I would say nut pie crust.

Beef Rump

Beef bottom, and I believe in the US this is Rump Roast.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Hanna Dermes : Google translate? Nöt means nut, nötkött would be beef :)

disagree George Hopkins : In this case 'nöt' refers to nuts.

nut cake

A 'tårtbotten' is usually a round sponge cake often cut horizontally into two pieces, with a filling in between. In this case a cake tasting of nuts.
Peer comment(s):

agree Pernille Chapman : Could be specified further by saying '(thin) layers of nut cake'.

Thank you Pernille, but the layers are usually two and fairly thick. just think of that great Swedish invention: Prinsesstårta.
