These is one of the seven theme areas of the Encuesta Nacional de Estructura Social de Argentina (ENES):
1) Vivienda y hábitat; 2) Movilidades y Asignaciones Identitarias; 3) Vulneración de derechos; 4) Alimentación y Nutrición; 5) Acceso a Bienes, Servicios y Ayudas de Otros; 6) Ingresos del Hogar; 7) Autopercepción de Clase.

My understanding is that if refers to how people are identified and self-identify in terms of nationality, race, gender, etc. Any ideas for how to render this in English?

Quotation marks around the search term Thanks @Wilsonn. I assume you are drawing attention to the fact that there were quotation marks around the term I was looking for help with. When you do a term search and nothing comes up and you then hit "Ask a Kudoz question, the page that opens puts the phrase you have searched for between quote signs. So it's kind of silly that they then say that "quotation marks should not be entered" when the website PUTS THEM IN. Below an example; I searched for the term without quotation marks and Proz then added them.
Or were you referring to something else?

I'm assuming that "movilidades" is a reference to "job mobility" and the propensity for conventional workplaces to identify certain positions with specific identities such as race (maintenance) or gender (clerical) roles.

It's in connection with social class and self-identity, yet in this case there's a concern with mobility and identifying allocations. In a National Survey on Argentina's social structure the following categories are priorities;
living accommodation, mobility and identifying allocations, infringements to basic entitlements or rights, food and nutrition, access to goods and services, help for others, household income and self identity within social class.
