omentum adhert to the cecum

ADHERED instead of adhert (sorry for the typo)

: "adhered" - I don't think adhert is a word :)

I need more help: Does "omentum adherent to the cecum" work with the next phrase, which is "cubriendo el apéndice cecal," which I can only translate as "covering the cecal appendix.
So it would be "omentum adherent to the cecum, covering the cecal appendix"?
Thank you, my rescuers, you're going straight to heaven.
