Spanish term

AGUA FRIA 40º LUGAR

Spanish to English Social Sciences Geography Mexico
From a Mexican birth certificate (State of Mexico), under LUGAR DE NACIMIENTO (Localidad), it reads "AGUA FRIA 40º LUGAR"

Agua Fria is apparently a small town in the state of Mexico, but what does "40º LUGAR" mean? No other info on place of birth is included.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. Happy New Year!
philgoddard Dec 28, 2017:
I agree It could be a kind of postal code, perhaps to locate the address in a village that doesn't have street names. But its meaning is not your problem, and you should leave it in Spanish.
Robert Carter Dec 28, 2017:
Hi Heather. If I were you, I'd leave it in Spanish, it's clearly part of an address.

I think this would do it and I would not just leave it in Spanish

Comment: "In the particular case of the birth certificate I was translating, I did opt to leave it in Spanish per Robert Carter and philgoddard's suggestion as I don't usually translate address elements except for city/country. However, I have clients who specifically request addresses be translated when they are in running text and in that situation I think your solution would be excellent. "
