Asker: thank you for your help, thank you all for your suggestions, i had found scoff in reverso dictionary, i thought it meant eating in a slang or colloquial way, this means one must always ask the help of humans that speak very good english and not just a dictionary cause one learns bad english filled with errors only using a dictionary, cause i thought humans said scoff or scarf, but no, dictionaries contain mistakes then,
