Spanish term

movimiento de arrastre

Spanish to English Other Esoteric practices Massage/Acupressure
This comes up twice in a document relating to massage/acupressure I am not sure what the correct term is especially as arrastrar has so many meanings. It is in a section on back massage.

1)

I am hoping there is a massage/acupressure expert out there who can help. TIA

@ Neil You'd be surprised just how specialized this language is. Arrastre has many meanings - drag/pull/trail/sweep...acupressure and massage also have many different techniques - I just want to make sure I get it right. As I said below I can't find any examples of acupressure techniques and dragging movements. Acupressure seems to involve only pressure or pushing movements whereas arrastrar doesn't normally mean push although it can in certain situations. Hence my question.

Why shoud you... ... need a massage/acupressure expert? A dragging movement is a dragging movement, whether it's the fingertips or an elephant pulling a cart....

Note from asker:
Thanks Neil I know its not esoteric but there didn't seem to be a massage section! I couldn't find any dragging involved with acupressure which is why I put this query up.
