Can anyone tell me if this means dehydrated fruit? I don't know if I'm spelling rezagada correctly because it is a transcription.

what about old or wilted fruit? The speaker is saying that she was advised to eat "verduras y fruta fresca no frutas y verduras rezagadas."

some old fruit and veg. may not shrivel, but the point is that they aren't fresh and will have lost vitamins, etc.

It means probably fruit that isn't fresh anymore (acording to your context, he's advised to eat fresh fruit). Rezagada means "that is late" so it's a bit strange to apply it to fruit but...
