net-menders Explanation: This is literal, but they have gone with it too. There's a poem by Silvia Plath called The net-menders. I don't know if they have another name in English. female net menders Explanation: The above answer is actually correct, but if you want to be more specific, remember the genders. We have male + female in spanish. The rederas (red: net. Fishing net to be more specific) were the women in charge of making the fishing nets and its a job that was particularly for women in the Franco dictatorship in the ports of Galicia. Recently in 2018 they counted the people working in this trade and there were 600+ out of which, less than 100 were men. So, I don´t know if you want to make the specification.
