Dear Colleagues,
I'd like to ask you whether it is possible to translate "размещать инвестиции" as "deploy investments" to describe an Agent-Principal business relationship in which the Principal transfers money to the Agent, and the Agent uses this transferred money to fund a particular project (the invested amount together with interest are paid to the Investor at a specified time in the future). In Russian the Agent's steps are described with the phrase "размещать инвестиции". Is it possible to say that the Agent "deploys" the Investor's capital in this case?

A question about "размещать инвестиции" in a similar context has already been...

Explanations given on that page obviously invalidate the answer accepted here
Indeed, both APEX Investment and Rady Venture (mentioned as examples) are funds where money is pooled and whose managers have full control over the investment process
By contrast, the scheme in question here implies that the Principal decides whether or not to make (i.e. "deploy") investments, while the Agent only provides technical support of the kind specified by the Principal-Agent agreement
Cognitive dissonance is easily avoided by translating
размещать инвестиции -> to provide investment support [services]
These comments are based on the assumption that both questions are about the same scheme
