Russian term

венчики кувшинов

Russian to English Art/Literary Archaeology culinary implements
This is a photo caption for an archeological dig, where they are finding and cataloging the usual bits of pottery. The picture just shows an archeologist surrounded by piles of pottery, tools, and other flotsam and jetsam.

«Край тарелки. Миска археологически целая. Венчики кувшинов.»

I get that these are jars or pitchers, but can't figure out how the «Венчики» fits in. Google image searches didn't help.

Thanks in advance!

rims of pitchers

The only thing I can find that makes any sense! Maybe the top bit, with the pourer.

pitcher lips

After all, one pours from the mouth of a pitcher.
