Nie chodzi o samo pole jak w crop land czy cropland, tylko o zanieczyszczenie rosnącego w polu zboża chwastami i np. związane z tym straty w postaci niższych plonów i większych nakładów na czyszczenie ziarna lub niższej ceny za gorszej jakości ziarno.
