dynamic kinematic envelope Explanation: The dynamic kinematic envelope is the operational envelope which the rolling stock will occupy. Obviously no trackside objects/obstacles can be placed within the DKE or the rolling stock will collide with them. This seems to be what the JBV definition is describing.
