Norwegian term

KBS

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Retail
From an annual report.

The term refers to a particular segment (convenience stores, petrol stations and service trade):

Økt kundeorientering og felles verdiskapning er viktig både innen dagligvare og innen kiosk, bensin og servicehandel (KBS).

Does anybody know if there is an equivalent acronym in English that I can use in place of KBS, which is repeated throughout the text?

i.e. SELSKAPET vokste innenfor smaksatte melkedrikker og forfriskende drikke i KBS-kanalen med sterke merkenavn som XXX, YYY og ZZZ.

FRS

There probably isn't an established acronym, so go ahead and establish one. Say Fuel, Retail and Services (FRS) at the outset, and use FRS going forward. KBS comes from the particular Norwegian retail fuel market, where the sale of diesel and petrol has been almost incidental - the petrol stations have been small supermarkets in their own right, and leaders in things like card systems and loyalty programs. The reason can be found in rules of opening hours, where normal shops had to keep to almost normal business hours in the 80's - but gas stations were open 24 hours. They flourished - but are now losing ground to regular convenience stores and supermarkets no longer restricted by opening rules.

Off course, in English it would be...Convenient stores and gas stations (US)?
