Norwegian term

ordrenr. vs bestillingsnr.

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Avvikskjema
Hi - this one is puzzling me - I'd normally translate both as order number but on this deviation form to be entered on the company system, there's obviously a difference in meaning. Order no. vs ordering/reservation/booking no. make no sense. Maybe record no.? Here's the entire form: Thanks for your help!

Best.nr. Order number The term is used to designate official govt (framework) documents:

I use Order.no., always capitalized.

Per Bergvall May 11, 2016:
Both are probably valid terms... It is conceivable that bestillingsnummer refers to a master booking, general agreement, frame agreement or similar, while ordrenummer refers to a single order for a specific item or number of items with a common delivery date and location. The latter would often be called 'avrop' in cases where a main office makes the agreement and branch offices places their orders. The precise terms are not essential here - just keeping them distinct and not confused. Booking number and order number would be a place to start.
Leif Henriksen May 11, 2016:
A wild guess could be that "Ordrenr" is the production order no., and the "Bestillingsnr." could be the procurement no., but this is not clear in any way. I would recommend asking the customer.
