Japanese term

症例実施費

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general) Clinical trials
Hi all,

I am not sure what this term may refer to in contexts such as the following:

https://www.ncc.go.jp/jp/ncch/division/clinical_trial/info/c...

https://mhlw-grants.niph.go.jp/system/files/2010/102042/2010...

Does it refer to expenses incurred for patients that have received the study drug/completed the trial as opposed to patients who have dropped out?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Case implementation charge

I think the most literal translation works fine here. Implementation has the sense of putting into effect or setting up. This works well considering it's the charge for subjects up to initial study drug dosing.

To answer your question on the expenses, based on the context for the first document, I believe the pink colored bar refers to the management costs for those who dropped out.

Per-subject costs

I couldn't find an exact translation for the term. I would use per-study, per-subject, and per-enrollment costs for each invoice method listed on the slide.
