Discussion

sounds like "given conditions" fits best
Lekhika (asker) Apr 20, 2018:
This is a research paper on the definition of real cell spaces constituting a commutative semiring or group ring based on additive distribution.

So, "given conditions" will perhaps fit?

The stated conditions contain many mathematical symbols and functions which are difficult to reproduce here.

purpose of question

Is this about research, experiment, examination (test for students), or? Without background it is hard to define the meaning. Basically it is talking about the "intention" or "purpose" of question (in the exam, or research, etc.).
