Japanese term

様似産

Japanese to English Science Cosmetics, Beauty Ingredient description
The full term is "様似産ヒトリシズカエキス(ヒトリシズカエキス)" (Chloranthus japonicus extract). I've had no luck figuring out 様似産 on my own. Any help would be much appreciated!

Samani/ from Samani

様似 is a town in Hokkaido. So 様似産 means that the ingredient, chloranthus japonicus extract, is from Samani.

It seems Hokkaido is one of the regions where the extract is made (refer to the second web reference), so it makes sense they put Samani in the phrase. Hope it helps.

Product of Samani

Product of Samani (Chloranthus japonicus extract). Named after this geographic location from north Japan - may be it is famous for it.
Like pistachio from California.
