hello,
I am wanting to confirm
データ保全 can be translated as "data backup" in the following context.

⇒約2GB/min/SOLO3、約3GB/min/SOLO4

Data protection; securing data

It seems “backing up data” is sometimes one way of “protecting data.”

Another reference in Japanese

“The process or task of securing data oftentimes extends to efforts in backing them up. Data protection backup ensures that potential problems that can be experienced in the future concerning data lose and damage may be averted. Backing up and securing information or files is a lengthy and tedious process but recovery of data when lost is even harder, at times, close to impossible.”

agree Kurt Hammond : I thought about this & the other answer and feel this one better in this context. "Data integrity" is another strong candidate but is used more in general discussions about information security. Data integrity means more like データの完全性.
