avevo visto anche io l'apostrofo: penso che possa essere interpretato come "approved exportation"

un'AE l'apostrofo indica che, in ogni caso, che si tratti di acronimo inglese o italiano, la prima parola è femminile, quindi escluderei Approved Exporter; più probabible si tratti di autorizzazione. Ieri ho fatto delle ricerche ma non ho trovato riscontri sicuri.

AE is a standard acronym in clinical trials, it only means Adverse Event. I do understand though that it doesn't fit with "dell'UE", so it might not refer to trial terminology but to something mentioned previously in the text, maybe?

yes, i am thinking Autorizzazione too - i certainly don't think it's adverse event (which gets all the hits on google obviously)
