Please look at the links I gave. They will help you decide as to the correctness of my proposed word.
I have been in the Construction Industry, for many years, as a Site Engineer, in London. I know what I am talking about.
If you look at the last Wordreference link you gave, you will find 'fall' further down from 'tilt'.

Please believe me, I don't have to tell you that if you were to tell a British builder, that a 'fall' in the floor is that somebody fell on the floor, he will fall on the floor with laughter. I am not saying this from disrespect to you, I just want to clarify, with CERTAINTY, what a 'fall' on floor levels is.
I've been in Construction almost all my life.
Drains are laid to a 'fall', normally designated in a ratio of height to distance, yes like a Gradient. But certainly NOT called 'gradient' or even 'tilt'.

Drainage
