Buenas tardes, compañeros:

Estoy traduciendo un texto sobre artículos para perros y aparece "Transportbox" varias veces. Me gustaría saber si consideran que está extendido el uso de "transportín" en toda España porque yo soy canario y puedo estar errando en el término y "caja de transporte" tiene muchos más resultados en Google que "transportín".

Estoy traduciendo al español de España.

3. m. Habitáculo con respiraderos, en forma de bolso, jaula o caja, para transportar animales domésticos pequeños.

«Caja de transporte» también lo entendería todo el mundo, claro, pero es más general y puede utilizarse para hablar del transporte de cualquier otra cosa. Al tratarse de un texto sobre perros, optaría por «transportín», que es más específico.
