double axle-mounted disc brake Explanation: I'm sure about the axle-mounted disc gbrake but they may prefer twin or dual to double. I only have ordinary Wellenbremsscheibe in my official UIC glossary |

Twin shaft-brake disc Explanation: Appears in dict of Automotive terms. Am not sure if you can use disc brake! ! ! ! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2008-07-04 14:48:10 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It wasnt mentioned clearly there. However I have found it in the Rail lexicon too. CMJ's answer would be fine barring the disc brake part of it. "brake disc" sounds better. |
